Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for customer success directors?
Minneapolis-based companies with established visa sponsorship programs for senior customer success roles include Wolters Kluwer, Jamf, Calabrio, and Sievert Larsgaard & Short. Larger enterprise software and healthcare technology firms are the most consistent sponsors, as they have HR infrastructure to support H-1B petitions. Startups in the North Loop and Uptown districts occasionally sponsor but less predictably than established mid-market and enterprise companies.
Which visa types are most common for customer success director roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer success director positions in Minnesota, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. L-1A visas are also used when candidates transfer from a multinational employer's foreign office into a Minnesota-based managerial role. O-1 petitions are less common but pursued by candidates with documented industry distinction.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most customer success director sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis accounts for the largest share of customer success director openings with visa sponsorship in Minnesota, driven by its concentration of software, fintech, and enterprise SaaS companies. Saint Paul adds additional opportunities, particularly in healthcare IT and professional services. Rochester is a secondary market worth monitoring given Mayo Clinic's expanding technology and digital health divisions, which increasingly hire for senior customer success leadership.
How to find customer success director visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse customer success director roles posted by Minnesota employers who are open to sponsoring. Rather than sorting through thousands of unfiltered postings, you can narrow results to the Twin Cities and surrounding metro areas, focusing on companies with a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for senior customer success and account management positions.
Are there any Minnesota-specific considerations for customer success directors seeking visa sponsorship?
Minnesota's prevailing wage requirements under Department of Labor guidelines apply to H-1B petitions filed here, meaning employers must pay the wage level set for customer success director roles in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan statistical area. The Twin Cities' strong university pipeline from the University of Minnesota produces competitive domestic candidates, so international applicants benefit from highlighting specialized industry expertise, particularly in healthtech, edtech, or enterprise SaaS, where local talent gaps are more pronounced.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success director jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
