Which companies in North Carolina sponsor visas for customer success directors?
Enterprise tech companies in the Research Triangle are the most active sponsors. Red Hat, SAS Institute, Cisco, and Fidelity Investments have histories of H-1B visa sponsorship for senior customer-facing roles. Charlotte-based financial technology firms including LendingTree also hire at the director level. Sponsorship is more common at established enterprises than at early-stage startups, which typically lack the legal infrastructure for immigration filings.
What visa types are most commonly used for customer success director roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer success director positions, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, communications, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with multinational employer experience may qualify for an L-1A intracompany transferee visa if moving from a related overseas entity. Individuals with extraordinary professional recognition may explore the O-1A category.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most customer success director visa sponsorship jobs?
The Research Triangle area, covering Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, concentrates the majority of sponsorship opportunities given its density of enterprise software companies, cloud infrastructure firms, and SaaS businesses. Charlotte is the second-largest market, driven by its financial services and fintech sectors. Smaller hiring pockets exist in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, though director-level sponsorship roles there are less frequent.
How to find customer success director visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers have indicated visa sponsorship availability, so you can search customer success director positions in North Carolina without manually screening hundreds of postings. The platform is built for international candidates, making it straightforward to identify which Research Triangle or Charlotte-area employers are actively open to sponsoring work visas at the director level.
Are there any state-specific considerations for customer success director candidates seeking sponsorship in North Carolina?
North Carolina's concentration of research universities, including NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and Duke, creates a strong pipeline into local enterprises, which means director-level candidates typically need substantial post-degree experience to stand out. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination for the Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte metropolitan areas will govern what an H-1B sponsoring employer must pay, and that wage level is tied to the specific job duties in the petition, not the job title alone.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success director jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
