Which companies sponsor visas for customer success directors in Oregon?
Portland-based technology employers are the primary sponsors for customer success director roles in Oregon. Companies with established engineering and go-to-market operations in the state, including Salesforce, Oracle, and Daimler Trucks North America, have filed H-1B visa sponsorships for senior customer-facing roles. SaaS companies headquartered or with significant Oregon offices, such as Viewpoint Construction Software and Puppet, also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for similar positions.
Which visa types are most common for customer success director roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer success director roles in Oregon because the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field and involves specialized knowledge of software products or enterprise systems. L-1A intracompany transferee visas are also relevant for directors moving from a foreign affiliate into a U.S.-based managerial role with the same employer. O-1 visa classification is occasionally used for candidates with documented exceptional achievement in customer success leadership.
Which cities in Oregon have the most customer success director sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of customer success director sponsorship opportunities in Oregon, driven by its established technology and software industry presence. The broader Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro, adds further concentration given Intel's campus and supporting software vendors in that corridor. Eugene sees occasional openings tied to university-adjacent technology companies, but Portland remains the center of director-level CS hiring with visa sponsorship in the state.
How to find customer success director visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse customer success director openings in Oregon without sorting through roles that won't consider international candidates. Because director-level CS positions in Oregon are concentrated among a relatively small set of technology employers, setting up a targeted search on Migrate Mate for Oregon and the customer success director role type helps surface active sponsoring employers quickly rather than relying on broad searches.
What should international candidates know about customer success director roles and visa sponsorship in Oregon?
Customer success director roles in Oregon are classified as specialty occupations under H-1B standards, but employers will expect candidates to demonstrate direct management experience and a measurable track record with enterprise accounts before committing to sponsorship at the director level. Oregon does not impose additional state-level visa requirements, but the Department of Labor prevailing wage obligations mean employers must offer compensation meeting the wage level appropriate for a director-level position in the Portland metropolitan statistical area, which is the benchmark used for most Oregon filings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success director jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
