Which companies in Michigan sponsor visas for customer success directors?
Michigan employers with documented H-1B and L-1 sponsorship history for senior customer success roles include Quicken Loans (now Rocket Companies) in Detroit, Stryker in Kalamazoo, and Verint-connected operations in the Ann Arbor corridor. Automotive technology vendors and healthcare software companies in the Metro Detroit area have also sponsored customer success leadership positions. Sponsorship varies by company size, hiring cycle, and internal immigration policy.
Which visa types are most common for customer success director roles in Michigan?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for customer success directors in Michigan, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. L-1A visas apply when a director is transferring within a multinational company. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the management consultant or analyst categories, depending on the role's specific duties.
Which Michigan cities have the most customer success director sponsorship jobs?
Detroit and its Metro area account for the largest share of customer success director openings in Michigan, driven by Rocket Companies, automotive technology firms, and enterprise software vendors. Ann Arbor has a notable concentration of tech and health-tech employers connected to the University of Michigan ecosystem. Grand Rapids is a secondary market with growing demand from medical device companies and regional SaaS businesses that occasionally sponsor senior customer success hires.
How to find customer success director visa sponsorship jobs in Michigan?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Michigan employers actively hiring customer success directors who will sponsor. Rather than sifting through general postings, you can search by role and state to surface companies with verified sponsorship history. This saves significant time for international candidates at the director level who need employer-initiated visa support before accepting an offer.
Are there state-specific considerations for customer success director visa sponsorship in Michigan?
Michigan's H-1B prevailing wage requirements for customer success directors are determined by the Department of Labor using the Detroit-Warren-Dearborn metropolitan area wage data, or Grand Rapids data for western Michigan roles. Employers must certify the offered wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage when filing the Labor Condition Application. Michigan's concentration of automotive, healthcare, and fintech industries also means many sponsoring employers have established immigration programs with experience processing director-level petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success director jobs in Michigan?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
