Our purpose-built systems provide the tools you need to thrive in a world where governments demand increased visibility, faster reporting and greater control over business processes. Excited about the possibilities? So are we!
Don't worry if you don't check all the boxes - apply anyway! We're focused on hiring the right people, not just the "right" resume. It's not about what you've done elsewhere; it's all about what you're capable of doing here.
The Work You'll Do:
At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance - helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global landscape. As an AI & Product Transformation Manager, you will own the enablement program that keeps Sovos' global support organization ready for every product launch and continuously fluent in the AI tools that power our work.
You'll be responsible for planning, building, and delivering the enablement program that connects Sovos Product and Global Support Services. Operating as a program manager, you'll lead AI skill-building across the support org, serve as the support-side liaison for major product launches, and make sure every agent has the documentation, training, and tooling they need to succeed - in both English and Spanish.
More specifically, you will:
- Own the AI Pods and AI Lab programs end to end: roadmap, session design, facilitation, measurement, and iteration
- Build hands-on, job-relevant content for TheLoops, Salesforce Einstein, Ask Sovi, and general-purpose AI tools
- Grow a bench of internal champions and train-the-trainer facilitators across US, LATAM, and EMEA
- Serve as the support-side liaison for major product launches; partner with Product, Engineering, and PMM on readiness plans
- Ensure every launch ships with the right support documentation, knowledge articles, bot content, and agent training
- Run launch readiness checks and escalate gaps before release, not after
- Treat enablement as a PM discipline: intake, prioritization, milestones, dependencies, owners, and comms plans
- Run regular reviews with support leadership; report program health, coverage, and impact
- Partner with Knowledge Management to keep agent-facing content accurate, discoverable, and bot-ready
Design light-touch measurement - quizzes, spot-checks, on-the-job observation - to verify enablement actually stuck.
What We Need From You
- 5+ years in enablement, learning & development, program management, or product management, with at least 2 years supporting a customer-facing organization
- Proven experience running launch-readiness programs in partnership with Product and/or Product Marketing teams
- Hands-on experience using and teaching AI tools in a support, sales, or operations context
- Demonstrated program management skills - able to run a quarterly plan, a launch, and a weekly cadence in parallel
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish (both required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
- A proactive program manager at heart - you plan, track, drive, and close
- Equally credible coaching a frontline agent and briefing a senior leader
- A practitioner of AI tools, not just a commentator - you can demo, not just describe
- Strong facilitator who can make complex product changes feel simple
- Operates with urgency and ownership; needs minimal direction to land a program
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire

Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for learning development managers?
UnitedHealth Group, Target, 3M, Mayo Clinic, and U.S. Bancorp are among the Minnesota employers with established visa sponsorship track records in HR and talent development functions. Larger corporations with dedicated L&D departments are most likely to sponsor, as they have internal immigration infrastructure and consistent demand for instructional design and organizational capability leadership.
Which visa types are most common for learning development manager roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for learning development managers in Minnesota, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in organizational development, education, human resources, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1 visa intracompany transferee status or O-1 visa extraordinary ability visas may also find pathways at large multinational employers headquartered or operating in the state.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most learning development manager sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and Saint Paul together account for the majority of learning development manager openings in Minnesota, driven by the high concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and large healthcare systems in the metro area. Rochester sees some demand due to Mayo Clinic's scale, and Minnetonka and Eden Prairie, home to several UnitedHealth Group and financial services offices, also generate sponsorship-eligible L&D positions.
How to find learning development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles offering visa sponsorship, making it practical to search for learning development manager positions in Minnesota without sorting through employers unlikely to sponsor. You can narrow results by location and role type to focus on Twin Cities metro employers or healthcare systems like Mayo Clinic that have demonstrated sponsorship history in talent and organizational development functions.
Are there state-specific considerations for learning development managers pursuing sponsorship in Minnesota?
Minnesota's strong healthcare, retail, and financial services sectors create consistent demand for enterprise L&D leadership, which works in favor of sponsored candidates. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay prevailing wages as determined by the Department of Labor for the specific occupation and metropolitan area, so Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Rochester each carry their own wage baselines. Candidates with advanced degrees in instructional design or organizational development from Minnesota-based universities like the University of Minnesota may have stronger employer pipelines into local sponsoring firms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored learning development manager jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
