This AI Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical leaders, data engineers, and administrative staff, to identify opportunities where AI can optimize workflows. What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate and coordinate the development of AI solutions to meet the strategic needs of business areas across the organization.
- Support the machine learning lifecycle from identifying data to maintenance in production environments.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and training of the models.
- Serve as a liaison between business users, data engineers, and developers to build, implement, and integrate AI solutions into services and products.
- Create and maintain technical and user documentation for models.
- Lead data analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Utilize data visualization and trend analysis to produce reports for leadership teams.
Job-Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or related technical field.
- Three years or more of professional experience in machine learning or AI engineering role.
- Two or more years of professional experience in data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Core ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experienced in any of cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Azure ML, SageMaker).
- Strong communications skills in relating complex subject matter to senior management.
- Ability to manipulate large data sets and identify trends using BI tools.
- Ability to lead projects and to coordinate efforts of developers of varying skill levels.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
- Problem-solving and analytical skill level to effectively diagnose unpredictable model behaviors, decompose complex data challenges and optimize system-level compromises.
- Verbal and written communication skills that bridge the gap between technical data and business strategy by translating complex information into jargon-free explanations while utilizing data storytelling that communicates trends and why certain metrics matter.
