Which technology companies in Missouri sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Missouri's largest technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsors include World Wide Technology in St. Louis, Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City, and Mastercard's technology division. Financial technology firms, healthcare IT companies, and enterprise software consultancies across St. Louis and Kansas City have filed Labor Condition Applications for Singapore nationals in software engineering, data analytics, and systems architecture roles. DOL LCA disclosure data confirms active filing history for these employer categories.
Which Missouri cities have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the large majority of Missouri's technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity. St. Louis hosts major employers in financial technology, IT services, and enterprise software, while Kansas City concentrates healthcare IT and cloud-platform roles. Springfield has a smaller but growing technology employer base. Singaporean professionals targeting Missouri should prioritize roles in these two metropolitan areas for the broadest set of sponsoring employers.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in technology requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, cybersecurity analysts, DevOps engineers, and IT project managers routinely meet this standard. Roles where any general degree is acceptable, rather than a field-specific one, typically do not qualify. O*NET occupation profiles can help verify whether a specific technology role meets the degree-relatedness requirement.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter by visa type, state, and industry to surface Missouri technology employers with verified H-1B1 Singapore LCA filing history. Because H-1B1 Singapore is a distinct visa category, generic job boards rarely surface sponsoring employers accurately. Migrate Mate uses DOL Labor Condition Application data to confirm which Missouri technology companies have actively sponsored Singapore nationals, saving you from applying to employers unfamiliar with the H-1B1 process.
Are there Missouri-specific or technology-industry considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Missouri has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements, so eligibility follows federal H-1B1 rules. In the technology sector, Missouri employers filing an H-1B1 LCA must certify the offered wage meets the DOL prevailing wage for the specific occupation and metropolitan statistical area, which differs between St. Louis, Kansas City, and smaller markets. Employers in Missouri's healthcare IT corridor should note that H-1B1 Singapore does not allow dual intent, a relevant consideration for Singaporean professionals considering long-term U.S. residency planning.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
