Title and Summary
Enterprise Account Executive - Mastercard Identity
Director, Specialist Sales
Overview:
About Mastercard Identity
Mastercard Identity (formerly Ekata) helps the world's largest companies see through fraud before it happens. Our API and web-based portal products deliver identity enrichment data that sharpens the precision and recall of customers' fraud models, processes, and rules, cutting third-party and identity fraud, reducing false positives, and increasing automation so fewer good customers get held for manual review.
Mastercard Identity is looking for a Director, Specialist Sales, to backfill an open territory on our Enterprise team.
ROLE:
This role is within the Mastercard Identity organization and will be focused on the largest online businesses and Fintechs.
- Own new-logo acquisition and expansion across a named book of Enterprise accounts.
- Sell directly to Fraud, Payment Risk, and Trust & Safety leaders who own the build vs. buy decision on identity data.
- Run point-of-view-led, consultative sales cycles that connect Mastercard Identity's data to a prospect's specific fraud loss, false-positive, and automation problems.
- Operate collaboratively within Mastercard's broader account relationship model, partnering with regional Mastercard account teams and Identity's central Product & Technology teams to close and expand deals.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and self-source pipeline into net-new Enterprise accounts in fraud-intensive industries (marketplaces, e-commerce, gaming, financial services, on-demand/gig platforms).
- Build and defend a qualified pipeline using a structured qualification framework, with clear economic buyers, business consequences, and decision timelines on every deal.
- Multi-thread every opportunity: no single-threaded deals carried into forecast.
- Navigate technical and business buyers (fraud ops, data science, engineering, risk leadership) to build consensus and drive adoption.
- Represent Mastercard Identity at industry events and with prospects as a trusted advisor on identity fraud trends and the regulatory landscape.
- Forecast accurately and manage a rolling pipeline against quota, in partnership with sales leadership.
Experience:
- Enterprise selling/hunting experience, carrying and exceeding an individual new-business quota against large ($500M+ revenue) accounts.
- Direct selling experience in fraud, payments, or identity, ideally with API/data products sold to technical and risk buyers.
- Track record of running consultative, multi-threaded sales cycles with Fraud, Payment Risk, or Trust & Safety leaders, not just IT or procurement.
- Comfortable navigating long, technical sales cycles involving data science and engineering evaluation.
- Ability to build pipeline independently rather than relying primarily on inbound or SDR-sourced leads.

Which companies sponsor visas for account executives in Montana?
Visa sponsorship for account executives in Montana comes primarily from mid-size technology companies, healthcare organizations, and energy sector firms with established international hiring programs. Companies headquartered in Billings and Bozeman with enterprise software or managed services lines are among the more consistent sponsors. Smaller regional businesses rarely sponsor work visas for sales roles due to the administrative cost and complexity involved.
Which visa types are most common for account executive roles in Montana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account executives when the role requires a specific bachelor's degree in a directly related field, such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline tied to what the company sells. The L-1B intracompany transfer is another option for candidates moving from a foreign affiliate into a Montana-based sales role. TN visa status covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles.
Which cities in Montana have the most account executive sponsorship jobs?
Billings is Montana's largest commercial center and has the highest concentration of account executive roles, particularly in healthcare services, logistics, and energy. Bozeman has grown quickly as a technology hub, attracting software and SaaS companies that hire in sales. Missoula supports account executive hiring in media, healthcare, and professional services. Great Falls and Helena have smaller markets with occasional sponsorship activity.
How to find account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Montana?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find account executive roles in Montana where employers are open to visa sponsorship. You can filter specifically by state and role type to surface relevant openings without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. Because Montana's sponsorship market is smaller than coastal states, checking Migrate Mate regularly as new roles are posted gives you the best chance of acting quickly.
Are there state-specific considerations for account executive visa sponsorship in Montana?
Montana's relatively small labor market means fewer H-1B filings compared to major metro states, which can make it harder to find employers with prior sponsorship experience. However, employers still must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the specific occupation and geographic area, which are calculated for Montana counties separately. Bozeman's growth has brought in more technology employers familiar with the sponsorship process, making it a practical focus area.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account executive jobs in Montana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
