The Food Allergy Research and Resource Program (FARRP) works to develop and provide the food industry with credible information, expert opinions, tools, and services relating to a broad range of food allergen topics. FARRP takes a comprehensive approach, working and collaborating with research institutions, governmental authorities, consumer groups, and scientific societies around the globe to improve the safety of food products for consumers.
As a FARRP Program Coordinator, you will:
Lead day-to-day financial operations for FARRP, providing operational and financial support to the co-directors across a complex portfolio of funding sources, projects, program activities, and revenue streams.
Serve as a primary financial advisor to the co-directors, conducting critical, time-sensitive financial analyses, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making related to budgeting, compliance, and resource allocation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for industry stakeholders on all non-scientific matters, managing ongoing relationships, coordinating communications, and facilitating access to program resources.
Develop and execute strategic member engagement and communication initiatives that strengthen relationships, support long-term program objectives, and enhance the value of FARRP membership.
Lead the planning and execution of the large-scale annual FARRP Board meeting, workshops, and other events by independently managing complex logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, contractual negotiations, and external partners.
Lead operational implementation of FARRP outreach initiatives developed by leadership, including in-person events, virtual programming, online courses, publications, and other educational resources.
* Provide strategic input to support the program’s communication objectives and manage day-to-day operations of the FARRP website and external communication channels.
Provide direct supervision and leadership for the administrative support team, focusing on workload coordination, performance management, and professional development.
Occasional travel is required for program events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, communications, or related field plus five (5) years’ experience in program or operations coordination. Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
Experience managing multiple budgets and exercising independent judgment.
* Supervisory experience with responsibility for staff oversight.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
Experience in research-intensive or externally funded programs.
Experience managing memberships, industry partnerships, or advisory boards.
* Experience overseeing outreach or educational programs and advising senior leadership on program operations.
