Which companies sponsor visas for sales executives in Nebraska?
Omaha-based employers including Sandhills Global, Fiserv's Nebraska operations, and West Corporation have filed Labor Condition Applications for sales-related roles. Healthcare technology firms such as Streck and Mutual of Omaha also appear in sponsorship records. Sponsorship activity is most consistent among mid-to-large employers in B2B technology, financial services, and agribusiness, where specialized sales talent is in sustained demand.
Which visa types are most common for sales executive roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa for sales executive roles in Nebraska, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline. The L-1B intracompany transferee visa is another pathway for candidates already employed abroad by a company with U.S. operations in Nebraska, particularly in enterprise software or financial services.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most sales executive sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the large majority of sales executive sponsorship activity in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, financial services firms, and technology companies. Lincoln, home to a growing tech sector and proximity to the University of Nebraska, represents a secondary market. Smaller markets like Grand Island occasionally see sponsorship from agribusiness and manufacturing-adjacent sales operations.
How to find sales executive visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship jobs, including sales executive roles in Nebraska. You can filter by state and job category to surface employers with active sponsorship histories. Focusing on Omaha-headquartered companies in B2B technology, insurance, and agribusiness gives you the strongest starting point, as these sectors generate the most consistent sponsorship demand for sales professionals in this state.
Are there any state-specific considerations for sales executives seeking sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific role and metro area. Omaha and Lincoln have distinct prevailing wage determinations, so the offer must reflect local standards. Sales executive roles tied to commission-heavy structures can sometimes complicate LCA filings, since the guaranteed base salary must independently meet prevailing wage requirements regardless of total compensation.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales executive jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
