Sales Representative, Recognition Products
Castle Connolly Top Doctors® | Everyday Health Group
Everyday Health Group (EHG) is a recognized leader in patient and provider education and services attracting an engaged audience of over 74 million health consumers and over 890,000 U.S. practicing physicians and clinicians. Our mission is to drive better clinical and health outcomes through decision-making informed by highly relevant information, data, and analytics. We empower healthcare providers, consumers and payers with trusted content and services delivered through Everyday Health Group’s world-class brands.
Castle Connolly Top Doctors® is the healthcare industry’s leading doctor ratings and research company and a subsidiary of Everyday Health Group. Castle Connolly is looking for a high-performing, articulate sales professional to own our Recognition Products business, the plaques, digital badges, logo licensing and custom recognition packages that physicians, dentists and hospitals purchase after earning a Castle Connolly Top Doctors®, Top Dentists®, or hospital-level distinction. The Sales Representative, Recognition Products will report directly to the Senior Manager, Physician Partnerships and will sell directly to physicians, dentists, hospital marketing teams and practice managers who have been recognized within the Castle Connolly database.
This role will be responsible for working within the Sales organization to maximize revenue and exceed individual and team goals by turning Castle Connolly recognition into tangible, sellable assets, including engraved plaques and framed certificates, digital badges and website seals, licensed use of the Castle Connolly logo, and custom press and social media kits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to generating leads from newly announced honorees, closing new business, and managing renewal and repeat-purchase cycles.
The Sales Representative, Recognition Products will be a key member of a small but growing team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organized, detail-oriented, high-performing and willing to pick up the phone and connect with physicians, dentists, and hospital administrators around the country.
The Recognition Products Opportunity
Being named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Top Dentist, or Top hospital program is a credential built on decades of physician-led research and peer trust, but it means little to a patient until it's visible. This is a consultative, high-touch sales role built around that simple insight: you are the person who makes a Castle Connolly distinction visible, and profitable for Castle Connolly.
You will own the full sales cycle for:
- Wall plaques, framed certificates and desktop awards
- Digital badges, website seals and email signature graphics
- Licensed use of the Castle Connolly Top Doctors/Top Dentists/Top Hospital logo across marketing, signage and advertising
- Custom social media kits and patient-facing collateral
- Annual renewal and repeat-recognition packages
Success in this role means being sharp enough to explain the credibility and provenance behind a Castle Connolly distinction, and personable enough to turn that conversation into a signed order, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve/exceed established sales targets
- Identify and secure opportunities for new business among newly recognized physicians, dentists and hospitals
- Educate honorees and hospital marketing teams on licensing guidelines and the full recognition products portfolio
- Work across the organization to develop strategic, integrated proposals
- Optimize existing and past relationships to maximize revenue
- Manage renewal and repeat-purchase cycles for plaques, logos and recognition packages
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, both internally and to clients
- Perform ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking
- Collaborate with other departments including research and marketing
- Utilize CRM tool for record keeping and account information sharing
- Contribute to new product development ideas and execution
Job Qualifications
- Must have prior direct sales experience
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience and success, ideally with previous exposure to the healthcare industry and/or providers
- Ability to organize and maintain many accounts, while providing outstanding customer service

- Responds well under pressure with ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Office suite products
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Which companies sponsor visas for sales representatives in Nebraska?
Omaha-based employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for sales roles include Mutual of Omaha, First Data (now Fiserv), and several agricultural technology firms in the greater metro area. Insurance carriers and financial services companies in Lincoln also sponsor regularly. Sponsorship is most common for technical or enterprise sales roles where a specialized degree is part of the job requirement, not general retail or consumer sales positions.
Which visa types are most common for sales representative roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales representatives in Nebraska, but it requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a specific bachelor's degree must be a baseline requirement for the position. Technical sales roles tied to software, agricultural technology, or financial products tend to meet that threshold. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying sales engineer or management analyst classifications.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most sales representative sponsorship jobs?
Omaha generates the large majority of visa-sponsored sales representative openings in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 companies, financial services firms, and technology employers. Lincoln follows as a secondary market, with the University of Nebraska's corporate partnerships supporting some hiring pipelines. Outside these two cities, sponsored sales roles are rare, as smaller Nebraska markets typically draw from local talent pools without requiring visa support.
How to find sales representative visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find sales representative roles in Nebraska where employers are actively open to visa sponsorship. The platform filters specifically for sponsoring employers, saving you from applying to positions where sponsorship is never available. Focus your search on Omaha and Lincoln, and prioritize technical or enterprise sales listings where a degree requirement is explicitly stated, as those roles are more likely to qualify under H-1B specialty occupation standards.
Are there any state-specific or role-specific considerations for sales representatives seeking sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's agricultural and insurance industries shape what sales representative roles look like here. Positions tied to agtech, crop inputs, or agricultural equipment often require domain knowledge that makes a relevant degree more defensible for H-1B purposes. Nebraska does not have state-level visa programs, so all sponsorship flows through federal pathways. Employers in Omaha's financial district tend to have established immigration counsel on retainer, which simplifies the process compared to smaller regional employers handling it for the first time.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales representative jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
