What visa types are most common for software product manager roles in Nevada?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for software product managers in Nevada, given the role's classification as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, Canadians and Mexicans may be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA, and those with extraordinary ability credentials may pursue an O-1 visa. Each category has distinct employer filing requirements.

Software product manager roles in Nevada are often tied to the gaming, hospitality, or data center sectors rather than enterprise SaaS, so candidates should ensure their background aligns with the specific industry. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas and University of Nevada, Reno produce local graduates employers may also consider, shaping competition for sponsored roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored software product manager jobs in Nevada?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
