Which companies sponsor visas for nursing assistants in New Hampshire?
The employers most likely to sponsor nursing assistants in New Hampshire are large health systems and long-term care organizations. Dartmouth Health, Catholic Medical Center, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, and ManorCare facilities have hiring patterns consistent with sponsorship activity. Staffing agencies that place CNAs across multiple New Hampshire facilities occasionally offer sponsorship as well, particularly for candidates already holding valid U.S. work authorization.
Which visa types are most common for nursing assistant roles in New Hampshire?
Nursing assistants in New Hampshire most commonly come through the EB-3 immigrant visa pathway, which covers skilled and unskilled workers and is widely used in healthcare support roles. The H-2B visa applies to temporary non-agricultural workers and is used by some long-term care facilities during seasonal demand periods. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or an EAD may also be hired without requiring a new petition from the employer.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most nursing assistant sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Concord have the highest concentration of nursing assistant roles in New Hampshire, driven by their larger hospital systems and long-term care facilities. Portsmouth and Dover in the Seacoast region also show consistent demand, particularly in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. Rural areas like the Lakes Region and North Country may have openings as well, though sponsorship activity is more common at larger urban facilities.
How to find nursing assistant visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically to surface nursing assistant roles in New Hampshire where employers are open to visa sponsorship, filtering out positions that require citizenship or permanent residency. You can browse current openings by location and role type, making it easier to focus your applications on employers with a documented pattern of sponsoring international candidates rather than applying broadly and hoping.
Are there any state-specific considerations for nursing assistants seeking sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire requires nursing assistants to hold active CNA certification through the New Hampshire Nurse Aide Registry before working in a licensed facility. International candidates pursuing EB-3 sponsorship should verify their credentials are evaluated and recognized before an employer files a petition. New Hampshire's healthcare workforce shortage, recognized at the state level, has prompted some facilities to be more open to sponsoring foreign-trained candidates than employers in less constrained markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored nursing assistant jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
