Which companies sponsor visas for solutions architects in New Hampshire?
Defense and technology contractors with New Hampshire offices are among the most active sponsors for solutions architect roles. BAE Systems, Conduent, and Oracle have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for architecture positions in the state. Larger enterprise software and financial services firms operating in the Manchester and Nashua corridor also appear consistently in Department of Labor disclosure data for solutions architect sponsorships.
Which visa types are most common for solutions architect roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for solutions architect positions in New Hampshire, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Australian citizens may also qualify through the E-3 visa. Candidates with multinational employer transfers may be eligible for the L-1A or L-1B depending on their managerial or specialized knowledge classification.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of solutions architect sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. Manchester functions as the state's primary commercial hub, with a concentration of technology, defense, and professional services employers. Nashua's proximity to the Massachusetts border makes it attractive for companies with Boston-area headquarters seeking office presence in New Hampshire. Portsmouth also has a smaller but active technology employer base.
How to find solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for solutions architect roles in New Hampshire without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface active openings from employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for architecture and enterprise technology positions in the New Hampshire market.
Are there state-specific considerations for solutions architects pursuing sponsored roles in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax on earned wages, which is relevant context when evaluating total compensation for sponsored roles. The state's technology sector draws significantly from the Boston metro talent pool, so employers are generally familiar with visa sponsorship processes. Solutions architects targeting defense contractors should be aware that some positions require security clearances, which can affect eligibility for non-U.S. citizens regardless of visa status.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solutions architect jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
