Position Summary
The Manager, Learning & Development, Agency/Partner Education is a hands-on learning leader responsible for designing, developing, and delivering Walmart Connect’s internal and external product education and certification programs. This role focuses on executing high-quality, scalable learning experiences that enable associates, advertisers, and partners to effectively use Walmart Connect’s advertising products and solutions.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Learning & Development, this role plays a key part in supporting the growth of Walmart Connect Academy by building impactful learning programs that drive product adoption, campaign performance, and advertiser success.
By partnering cross-functionally and applying strong instructional design and facilitation expertise, this role helps deliver data-driven learning programs that enhance product knowledge, improve user confidence, and support business growth.
Program Design, Content Development & Facilitation:
- Design and deliver multi-modal learning programs, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual ILT (vILT), eLearning, video, simulations, microlearning, and blended learning for internal and external audiences.
- Develop modular curricula (e.g., 101/201/301) that build from foundational product knowledge to more advanced platform capabilities and campaign strategies.
- Apply instructional design, UX, and storytelling principles to create engaging, learner-centric content.
- Create high-quality learning assets using tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint.
- Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, certification programs, and enablement workshops.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate product features and updates into effective learning experiences.
Certification Program Execution:
- Support the development and delivery of certification programs, including content creation, assessment design, and updates.
- Maintain certification materials to ensure alignment with current product features and best practices.
- Assist in managing certification logistics, learner tracking, and reporting within the LMS.
- Ensure consistency and quality across certification content and learner experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner Management teams to align training with product launches and business priorities.
- Participate in needs analyses and discovery sessions to identify skill gaps and recommend learning solutions.
- Lead the rollout of training initiatives tied to go-to-market efforts and product releases.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
- Track and analyze learning performance metrics such as completion rates, learner feedback, and knowledge retention.
- Use data and feedback to continuously improve content, delivery methods, and learner experience.
- Own reporting efforts that connect learning outcomes to business impact.
Academy Support & Program Operations:
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Walmart Connect Academy as a scalable learning platform.
- Lead program operations including scheduling, communications, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Ensure learning content is organized, accessible, and maintained within learning platforms.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field and 2 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Product Enablement, or Customer/Partner Education.
- Experience designing and delivering multi-modal learning programs (ILT, vILT, eLearning, microlearning, video).
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Experience working with LMS platforms and learning analytics.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising, ad tech, or SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate complex product information into clear, actionable learning content.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00 in Hoboken, New Jersey.
The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 in San Bruno, California. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
