About the Team
Fanatics TCG is a new Seattle-based trading card game studio within the Fanatics Collectibles family, founded by industry veterans with a long-term mandate: to build enduring franchises that live across tabletop, digital, community, and culture. We're looking for the most skilled and passionate talent in the games industry and beyond to help us create the best trading card games in the world.
Who We're Looking For
Fanatics TCG is seeking a Principal Graphic Designer to serve as a senior individual contributor and studio-level craft leader. In this role, you will define and steward the graphic design systems that shape our trading card game franchises, translating creative direction and gameplay needs into distinctive, scalable, and production-ready solutions.
Your work will span franchise identity, card-frame architecture, typography, iconography, color systems, templates, packaging, and marketing materials. You will remain actively involved in design execution while also establishing the principles, standards, and tools that enable other designers and cross-functional partners to create consistent, high-quality work.
In close partnership with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Game Design, Product Development, and Production teams, you will lead the studio's most complex graphic design challenges, influence high-impact visual decisions, and elevate design quality through hands-on work, thoughtful critique, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Define and steward the visual design language for Fanatics TCG franchises, ensuring each property has a distinctive, recognizable, and scalable identity.
- Lead the development and ongoing evolution of card-frame systems, including frame architecture, information hierarchy, typography, iconography, color, and the visual grammar used to communicate gameplay information.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive franchise identity systems, including logos, color systems, typography, graphic elements, and brand standards.
- Translate creative concepts into documented design systems, templates, shared libraries, and production tools that can be applied consistently across cards, packaging, marketing materials, and related brand touchpoints.
- Serve as the hands-on design lead for high-impact, highly complex, or ambiguous initiatives, guiding work from early exploration and concept development through production-ready execution.
- Partner with Game Design to ensure graphic systems support readability, information hierarchy, and gameplay comprehension without compromising the distinct character of each franchise.
- Collaborate with Creative, Product Development, and Production partners to balance creative ambition with product requirements, print capabilities, manufacturing constraints, schedules, and business objectives.
- Establish and uphold graphic design quality standards across the product line, reviewing key work and identifying solutions when designs do not meet established creative, functional, or production requirements.
- Act as a trusted design authority by clearly articulating design rationale, evaluating creative tradeoffs, and building alignment among creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- Provide actionable critique, mentorship, and technical guidance to other designers, helping the team apply shared standards while continuing to develop their individual craft.
- Identify recurring design, workflow, and production challenges and lead improvements to templates, documentation, review practices, asset management, and cross-functional handoffs.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and accessible design files, standards, and shared assets that support efficient collaboration and long-term franchise development.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8 or more years of professional graphic design experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating ownership of complex brand, identity, or design-system work.
- A portfolio demonstrating advanced craft in typography, hierarchy, composition, color, and information design, including work for highly constrained or information-dense formats.
- Demonstrated experience creating and evolving scalable visual systems, templates, standards, and shared tools that support consistent execution across products and contributors.
- The ability to lead complex or ambiguous design challenges, translate creative direction into practical solutions, and influence decisions through clear design rationale and constructive collaboration.
- Experience partnering across creative, product, game design, and production disciplines, while providing mentorship, critique, or craft guidance to other designers.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong working knowledge of print production, packaging, file preparation, and template-based design.

Search Retail Jobs in WashingtonRetail H-1B1 Singapore Sponsorship Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
Which retail companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Washington?
Washington-headquartered retailers with documented specialty occupation hiring include Nordstrom, Amazon, REI, and Costco. These companies have filed Labor Condition Applications for roles in merchandising, retail analytics, and supply chain management. Checking OFLC disclosure data by employer name and state gives the most accurate picture of which companies have actively sponsored H-1B1 Singapore workers in Washington retail operations.
Which cities in Washington have the most retail H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue account for the largest share of Washington retail sponsorship activity, driven by corporate headquarters and flagship store concentrations. Redmond and Kirkland see demand tied to tech-adjacent retail and e-commerce roles. Tacoma and Spokane have smaller but active retail markets. Corporate and analytical retail roles requiring specialty occupation qualifications cluster most heavily in the Seattle-Bellevue metro corridor.
What types of retail roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
H-1B1 visa sponsorship in retail requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Roles that commonly meet this standard include retail data analysts, merchandising planners, supply chain managers, e-commerce product managers, and buyer positions. General sales associate and store management roles typically do not qualify unless the employer can demonstrate a specific degree requirement.
How do I find retail H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, making it straightforward to search for retail roles in Washington that employers have indicated will support H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship. You can narrow results by industry, role type, and location within the state. This is more targeted than a general job search, since Migrate Mate draws on employer LCA filing history to surface companies with demonstrated H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity.
Are there state-specific or retail-industry considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Washington?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects how employers calculate and present compensation packages for prevailing wage compliance purposes. The retail sector in Washington is shaped heavily by e-commerce, so many specialty occupation roles blend traditional retail functions with digital and data skills. Washington's strong presence of multinational retail and tech-retail companies also means more employers here are familiar with H-1B1 Singapore processes compared to states with smaller international hiring footprints.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore retail jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
