Which e-commerce companies in Washington sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Amazon is the most prominent e-commerce employer in Washington with a documented history of H-1B1 Singapore filings, given its Seattle and Bellevue footprints. Companies like Nordstrom, Expedia Group, and T-Mobile's e-commerce divisions have also filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles. Sponsorship activity tends to concentrate in companies running large-scale digital retail, marketplace, or fulfillment technology operations in the state.
Which cities in Washington have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Seattle leads the state by a significant margin, driven by Amazon's headquarters and a dense ecosystem of e-commerce technology suppliers and logistics companies. Bellevue and Redmond also have meaningful activity, with several large retail technology and online marketplace employers maintaining offices there. Tacoma and Kirkland have smaller but growing e-commerce presences, particularly in fulfillment operations and regional retail technology roles.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related specialty field qualify. In e-commerce, this commonly includes software engineers, data scientists, product managers, UX researchers, business intelligence analysts, and digital marketing strategists with specialized technical backgrounds. Generalist roles or positions where any degree field is accepted typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B1 Singapore classification.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters e-commerce job listings in Washington specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, using DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface employers who have filed for Singaporean workers in relevant roles. This is more reliable than standard job boards because it reflects actual sponsorship behavior rather than employer self-reporting. You can search by role type, city, and employer size to narrow results to the most relevant opportunities in Washington's e-commerce sector.
Are there any Washington-specific or e-commerce-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since take-home pay differs from states that do tax wages, though this does not change the DOL's prevailing wage calculation methodology. E-commerce employers in Washington frequently file LCAs for roles tied to specific product lines or platforms, meaning job descriptions are often highly technical. Singaporean applicants should confirm their degree field aligns directly with the posted role's requirements before pursuing an application.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore e-commerce jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
