Which agriculture companies in New Jersey sponsor TN visas?
New Jersey agriculture employers that have historically filed for work visa sponsorship include food processing operations, agricultural supply companies, and university-affiliated research stations. Firms involved in produce distribution, greenhouse management, and soil science consulting in counties like Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem tend to have the most active sponsorship records. Checking DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data by employer name is the most reliable way to verify a specific company's filing history.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most agriculture TN sponsorship jobs?
Bridgeton, Vineland, and Millville in Cumberland County are the most active hiring hubs for agriculture roles in New Jersey, given the county's concentration of commercial farms and food processing facilities. Woodbury in Gloucester County and Salem City in Salem County also generate consistent demand. Rutgers University's agricultural research programs in New Brunswick occasionally post roles in agronomy and plant science that may qualify under TN visa categories.
What types of agriculture roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in New Jersey?
TN visa eligibility in agriculture is limited to occupations listed in the USMCA TN category, which includes agricultural scientists, animal scientists, plant scientists, and food scientists, among others. Roles involving agronomic research, soil science, food quality assurance, or agricultural management at the graduate-degree level typically meet the specialty occupation standard. General farm labor and non-degree field positions do not qualify. Reviewing the O*NET occupation profile for your target role helps confirm whether it meets TN requirements.
How do I find agriculture TN sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN visa holders and filters job listings by visa type and industry, making it straightforward to search agriculture roles with confirmed TN sponsorship history in New Jersey. You can narrow results by occupation category and county to focus on employers in the state's southern farming corridor. Reviewing each employer's DOL filing history through the OFLC Wage Search also helps confirm active sponsorship before applying.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in agriculture?
New Jersey's Right to Farm Act and its status as a leading producer of blueberries, cranberries, and fresh vegetables means agricultural employers here often operate year-round, which supports stable TN employment arrangements. However, TN status is employer-specific, so any role change requires a new TN application. New Jersey also has state-level prevailing wage requirements that may affect how employers structure compensation for sponsored positions, which USCIS and DOL both review during the application process.
