Which transportation companies sponsor TN visas in New Jersey?
New Jersey's transportation sector includes major freight, logistics, and supply chain employers with a track record of hiring TN visa-eligible workers. Companies with significant operations in the state include XPO Logistics, Ryder System, Amazon Logistics, FedEx, UPS, and Maersk, which maintains a North American hub near the Port of Newark. Sponsorship practices vary by role and facility, so researching specific job postings is the most reliable approach.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most transportation TN sponsorship jobs?
Newark, Elizabeth, and Edison are the strongest markets for transportation TN jobs in New Jersey. Newark Liberty International Airport and the Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal generate concentrated demand for logistics and operations roles. Edison and Woodbridge serve as distribution hub corridors along the I-95 and New Jersey Turnpike corridors. Jersey City also sees demand from companies managing freight connections into New York City.
What types of transportation roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in transportation generally covers roles that require a qualifying bachelor's degree in a recognized professional category. Industrial engineers, management consultants, and computer systems analysts working within logistics and supply chain operations are common qualifying titles. Civil engineers involved in transportation infrastructure also qualify. Roles that are primarily operational, such as drivers or dispatchers, do not meet the TN specialty occupation and degree requirements.
How do I find transportation TN sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible job seekers and filters listings by visa type, state, and industry, making it straightforward to browse transportation TN sponsorship jobs in New Jersey without sifting through irrelevant postings. Because TN sponsorship depends on both the role and the employer's willingness to support the process, using a platform focused on visa-sponsoring employers saves significant research time.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in transportation?
New Jersey's proximity to the Port of Newark and its position along the Northeast Corridor mean many transportation roles involve multimodal logistics, which can create complex job descriptions. For TN purposes, the job title and required degree must align with an approved USMCA professional category regardless of how broad the day-to-day responsibilities are. Canadian and Mexican citizens should confirm with their employer that the offered role meets TN occupational criteria before accepting an offer.
