About We Are Social
Hello. Have you considered becoming a We Are Social intern?
Mentally circle (Y) or (N).
If you mentally circled (Y), that’s great, you must already know that We Are Social is the largest social advertising agency in the world with some of the coolest clients in existence. And possibly also that we have top quality coffee machines in our offices so we’re not constantly sending our interns on coffee runs, leaving you the opportunity to actually learn from, and participate in, the creation of our groundbreaking work. The kind of work that has turned us into one of those “hot shops” known for pulling off the unthinkable, like sparking massive global TikTok trends, driving consumer demand to the point of breaking supply chains, or wearing double denim to a wedding. Good for you, you did your research. Now apply already, we’re excited to meet you.
If you mentally circled (N), it’s ok. This happens to a lot of interns. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. You still have the opportunity to apply for one of our 2026 summer internships available in New York and Los Angeles from June 9th to July 30th. Our interns will get the opportunity to network, learn, and grow professionally at the world’s illest, and sometimes chillest, social agency. It’s the place to intern, with the minimum coffee runs required. Get your application in now!
If you physically circled either (Y) or (N) we sincerely hope you did not use a permanent marker.
- Applications will close on March 13, 2026

Which social media companies sponsor F-1 CPT visas in New York?
New York hosts a high concentration of social media employers with active CPT hiring, including Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, and Twitter's commercial teams, as well as agencies such as VaynerMedia, Edelman, and We Are Social. Startups in the media-tech corridor from Flatiron to Hudson Yards also regularly work with university DSOs to structure CPT-eligible internship roles. CPT authorization depends on your school's program requirements, not the employer alone.
Which cities in New York have the most social media F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the largest share of social media CPT internships in New York, particularly in Midtown and Lower Manhattan where major platforms and agencies are headquartered. Brooklyn, especially the DUMBO and Williamsburg neighborhoods, has a growing cluster of digital media startups and content studios. Students at NYU, Columbia, Fordham, and The New School are geographically well-positioned to access these opportunities without long commutes.
How do I find social media F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for F-1 students searching for CPT-eligible roles, filtering social media positions in New York by employer sponsorship history and role type. Rather than scanning general job boards where CPT eligibility is rarely disclosed upfront, Migrate Mate surfaces employers already familiar with CPT authorization processes, saving you the step of cold-screening each company. Filter by New York and social media to see current content, analytics, and community management openings.
What types of social media roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship in New York?
Roles that qualify for CPT must be directly tied to your degree program and authorized by your DSO. In social media, this commonly includes content strategy intern, social media analytics associate, paid social specialist, community manager, influencer marketing coordinator, and digital campaign assistant positions. Roles in data and performance reporting may align with business analytics or communications programs. Your DSO confirms whether a specific role satisfies your curriculum integration requirement, not the employer.
Are there state-specific considerations for F-1 CPT social media jobs in New York?
New York's dense university network means DSOs at schools like NYU, Columbia, and the New School process high volumes of CPT authorizations and are generally experienced with social media internship structures. New York's worker classification laws require that CPT interns in paid roles receive at least the state minimum wage, and unpaid internship arrangements must satisfy strict educational benefit standards under New York Labor Law. Confirm compensation terms and your school's CPT credit requirements before accepting any offer.
