Which companies sponsor visas for revenue managers in New York?
Hospitality groups operating large Manhattan hotel portfolios, major airlines with headquarters or hubs tied to JFK and LaGuardia, and SaaS companies in Midtown are among the most active sponsors for revenue manager roles in New York. Global hotel brands, online travel agencies, and media companies with subscription pricing teams have all filed H-1B petitions for revenue management positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for revenue manager roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most common visa for revenue managers in New York, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding L-1 intracompany transferee status through a multinational employer, or those with an O-1 based on extraordinary ability in data-driven pricing, may also pursue positions through those categories.
Which cities in New York have the most revenue manager sponsorship jobs?
New York City accounts for the overwhelming majority of revenue manager sponsorship opportunities in the state, with the highest concentration in Midtown Manhattan, where hospitality, media, e-commerce, and SaaS employers are clustered. Albany sees limited demand from state government-adjacent organizations, and Buffalo and Rochester have some activity tied to healthcare systems and manufacturing, though the volume is far smaller than NYC.
How to find revenue manager visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse revenue manager roles in New York without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform surfaces openings from hospitality groups, airlines, tech firms, and media companies across New York City, which is where most of the state's sponsored revenue management hiring is concentrated.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for revenue manager sponsorship roles?
New York City's high cost of living means employers must meet elevated Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements when sponsoring H-1B petitions for revenue manager positions. The city's density of hospitality, finance, and tech employers creates genuine competition for experienced candidates, and firms in unionized hotel environments may have additional HR complexity around sponsored hires. New York University and Cornell's School of Hotel Administration produce graduates that some local employers already have sponsorship pipelines for.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored revenue manager jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
