Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in North Carolina?
North Carolina distribution and wholesale employers that have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles include large logistics operators, food distribution companies, and industrial supply firms based in Charlotte, Greensboro, and the Raleigh-Durham area. Companies such as Sysco, Ingersoll Rand, and regional third-party logistics providers have a documented history of sponsoring skilled foreign nationals, though sponsorship decisions are made case by case and are never guaranteed.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte leads the state for distribution and wholesale sponsorship activity given its position as a major Southeast logistics hub with strong highway and rail infrastructure. Greensboro and Winston-Salem follow, anchored by long-standing wholesale and industrial distribution operations. The Research Triangle area, including Raleigh and Durham, also draws supply chain roles tied to technology and pharmaceutical distribution networks serving the region's major employers.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that typically meet the H-1B1 visa specialty occupation standard in distribution and wholesale require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Supply chain analysts, logistics engineers, procurement specialists, operations research analysts, and international trade compliance managers are common qualifying titles. General warehouse, driver, or sales support positions do not typically meet the specialty occupation threshold. Employers confirm qualification requirements through the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL.
How do I find distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface North Carolina distribution and wholesale employers with verified H-1B1 sponsorship activity drawn from DOL Labor Condition Application records. This gives you a factual starting point based on actual filing history rather than guesswork. From there, you can target outreach to companies that have demonstrated willingness to sponsor Chilean nationals in relevant specialty occupation roles.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in North Carolina's distribution sector?
North Carolina does not impose additional state-level visa requirements beyond federal H-1B1 standards. However, the state's distribution sector skews heavily toward food service, industrial supply, and pharmaceutical wholesale, meaning specialty occupation roles often align with supply chain management, regulatory compliance, or systems analysis functions rather than pure logistics operations. Employers must meet DOL prevailing wage requirements for the specific occupation and geographic area, which you can verify using the OFLC Wage Search tool.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile distribution & wholesale jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
