Which companies sponsor visas for patient services managers in North Dakota?
The most active sponsors for patient services manager roles in North Dakota are large integrated health systems, particularly Sanford Health and Essentia Health, both of which have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for healthcare management positions. Regional hospital networks such as CHI St. Alexius Health and Altru Health System also hire for patient services leadership and have sponsored international workers in administrative and clinical operations roles.
Which visa types are most common for patient services manager roles in North Dakota?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for patient services managers in North Dakota, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in health administration, business, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Some candidates with clinical backgrounds may qualify under TN visa status if they are Canadian or Mexican nationals. EB-3 immigrant visas are another route for employers willing to pursue permanent sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process.
Which cities in North Dakota have the most patient services manager sponsorship jobs?
Fargo is the leading city for patient services manager sponsorship jobs in North Dakota, driven by Sanford Health's large regional campus and a concentration of outpatient clinics. Bismarck follows, anchored by CHI St. Alexius Health and Sanford Bismarck. Grand Forks also sees demand through Altru Health System. Smaller markets like Minot have fewer openings but periodically recruit for patient services leadership at Trinity Health facilities.
How to find patient services manager visa sponsorship jobs in North Dakota?

Rather than sorting through unverified postings, Migrate Mate surfaces roles at health systems like Sanford Health and Essentia Health where sponsorship is a known part of their hiring practice for healthcare management positions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for patient services managers seeking sponsorship in North Dakota?
North Dakota's healthcare sector is heavily shaped by its rural geography, which means patient services managers often oversee multi-site operations or telehealth coordination in addition to standard administrative duties. Employers filing H-1B petitions must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the Fargo or Bismarck metropolitan areas, which differ from national benchmarks. Candidates with experience in rural health systems or critical access hospital environments may find their profile particularly competitive with North Dakota sponsors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient services manager jobs in North Dakota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
