We're looking for someone who enjoys supporting teachers, building relationships with families, and helping a busy early childhood education center run smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not simply an office position. Our ideal candidate is organized, approachable, confident in making decisions, and willing to step into classrooms whenever needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Professional experience working in a licensed childcare center.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, mentoring, or supporting teaching staff.
- Working knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, classroom ratios, and center operations.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and consistent follow-through.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–6:15 PM, including closing responsibilities.
- Ability to meet applicable Ohio childcare employment and background-check requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as an Assistant Director, Director, Education Coordinator, or Lead Teacher.
- Experience managing staff schedules, classroom coverage, and daily operations.
- Early Childhood Education degree, CDA, or related credentials.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Director with the daily operation of the school.
- Guide, encourage, and coach teachers to maintain high classroom standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, breaks, and transitions.
- Help ensure compliance with Ohio childcare licensing requirements.
- Build positive relationships and communicate professionally with families.
- Assist with enrollment, school tours, and family concerns.
- Support curriculum implementation and classroom quality.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and school procedures.
- Assist in classrooms and with closing responsibilities as needed.
- Help maintain a positive, accountable, and supportive team environment.
