Which companies in Oklahoma sponsor visas for business development executives?
Energy companies including Devon Energy, ONEOK, and Enable Midstream have sponsored work visas for business development roles, as have healthcare organizations like INTEGRIS Health and Ardent Health Services. Aerospace and defense firms with Tulsa operations, such as American Airlines' maintenance division and Spirit AeroSystems, also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as sponsors for professional-level positions.
Which visa types are most common for business development executive roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for business development executives in Oklahoma, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or a related discipline. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Nationals of Australia, Canada, and Mexico may have access to the E-3 visa or TN visa categories depending on the role's requirements.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most business development executive sponsorship jobs?

How to find business development executive visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers are open to visa sponsorship, including business development executive positions in Oklahoma. Are there any state-specific considerations for business development executives seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily weighted toward energy, which means business development executive roles often require sector-specific expertise in oil and gas, pipeline operations, or energy services. Employers filing H-1B Labor Condition Applications must certify they're meeting the prevailing wage for the Oklahoma City or Tulsa metropolitan area, which differs from national benchmarks. Candidates with energy industry backgrounds or an MBA from the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University may find stronger traction with local sponsors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development executive jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
