Search Partnership Development Manager Jobs in OklahomaPartnership Development Manager Jobs in Oklahoma: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Oklahoma sponsor visas for partnership development managers?
Energy corporations including Devon Energy, ONEOK, and Chesapeake Energy have histories of sponsoring skilled foreign workers in business development functions. Healthcare systems like SSM Health and INTEGRIS, along with mid-sized technology and SaaS companies based in Oklahoma City, have also filed sponsorships for partnership-oriented roles. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific position, the employer's hiring needs, and whether the role meets specialty occupation criteria.
What visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnership development managers in Oklahoma, provided the employer can demonstrate the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. The O-1A is an option for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in business development. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose roles align with the permitted USMCA professional categories.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify partnership development manager roles in Oklahoma without sorting through positions that won't support visa candidates. You can search by role and state to surface employers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa who are actively hiring and have indicated willingness to sponsor. This saves significant time compared to reviewing unfiltered postings.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City concentrates the largest share of partnership development manager opportunities in the state, driven by its energy sector headquarters, healthcare networks, and an expanding technology corridor. Tulsa is a secondary hub, particularly for energy midstream companies and industrial-sector businesses with active partnership functions. Norman and Stillwater occasionally surface roles connected to university technology transfer offices and research commercialization programs.
Are there any state-specific considerations for partnership development managers seeking visa sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily weighted toward energy, which shapes the industry context for partnership development manager roles. Employers in the energy sector often require candidates with domain knowledge in oil and gas, renewables, or midstream operations, which can strengthen a specialty occupation argument for H-1B petitions. Oklahoma's lower cost of operations also means many employers are mid-sized firms, so prospective candidates should verify whether those employers have prior H-1B filing experience before applying.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
