Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Tennessee?
Tennessee's largest visa-sponsoring employers for partnership development managers include HCA Healthcare and Change Healthcare in Nashville, FedEx in Memphis, and technology firms like Asurion and SmileDirectClub. Healthcare IT and logistics companies in the state have a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for business development and partnership-focused roles, particularly when candidates hold degrees in business, marketing, or a related specialty field.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnership development managers in Tennessee, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration or marketing. Some candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship pursue TN status under the USMCA. Intracompany transferees at multinational firms may qualify for the L-1B visa when the role involves specialized knowledge.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the majority of partnership development manager sponsorship opportunities in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare companies, technology startups, and financial services firms. Memphis is a secondary hub, particularly in logistics and supply chain sectors anchored by FedEx and related distributors. Knoxville offers smaller but growing opportunities tied to the University of Tennessee's research commercialization and regional manufacturing partnerships.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it easier to identify partnership development manager openings in Tennessee without sifting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by state and job category to surface positions at Tennessee-based employers in healthcare technology, logistics, and enterprise software, sectors where sponsorship for this role is most commonly available.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnership development managers seeking sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage competitiveness when employers benchmark compensation for H-1B Labor Condition Applications. Partnership development manager roles in Nashville's healthcare IT sector often require demonstrated experience with channel or vendor ecosystems, which can strengthen the specialty occupation argument for H-1B eligibility. Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee also generate a pipeline of international graduates who pursue sponsorship in business development roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
