Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Kentucky?
Louisville-based companies are the most active sponsors for business development roles in Kentucky. Humana, Kindred Healthcare, and Tempur Sealy have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for business and partnership roles. UPS, headquartered in the Louisville area, also sponsors for relationship and development management positions. Lexington-based firms in technology and professional services round out the sponsorship pool, though smaller regional employers sponsor less frequently.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnership development manager positions in Kentucky, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. L-1B visas are an option for intracompany transferees moving into a Kentucky office from an overseas role with the same employer. O-1 visas apply only in rare cases where candidates have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in their field.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Louisville accounts for the majority of partnership development manager sponsorship opportunities in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of healthcare, logistics, and financial services employers. Lexington is the secondary market, with activity in technology services, higher education partnerships, and the equine industry. Smaller markets like Bowling Green and Covington occasionally have openings tied to manufacturing or regional corporate offices, but sponsorship there is less consistent.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find partnership development manager roles in Kentucky that offer visa sponsorship, with filters that let you narrow by state and job category. Because sponsorship willingness is not always stated in job postings, using a platform built specifically for international candidates saves significant time. Focusing your search on Louisville's healthcare and logistics employers and Lexington's technology sector will surface the highest concentration of relevant opportunities in Kentucky.
Are there any Kentucky-specific considerations for partnership development manager sponsorship?
Kentucky employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific role and location, which is determined by the Standard Occupational Classification for business development or sales management. Louisville and Lexington have different prevailing wage tiers, so the same title can carry different employer obligations depending on the worksite. Kentucky's healthcare sector dominance also means many partnership roles are tied to provider networks or payer relationships, which shapes how employers define and classify the position for sponsorship purposes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
