Which companies sponsor visas for service coordinators in Oklahoma?
Healthcare employers are the most active sponsors for service coordinator roles in Oklahoma. INTEGRIS Health, Saint Francis Health System, and OU Health have filed H-1B petitions for coordination and case management positions. State and regional social services agencies occasionally sponsor as well, though less consistently. Larger hospital networks and managed care organizations generally have the HR infrastructure to support visa sponsorship compared to smaller nonprofits or community providers.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinator roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for service coordinator positions when the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Some positions at federally funded health programs may support other nonimmigrant categories, but H-1B remains the primary path for most international candidates.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City and Tulsa account for the majority of service coordinator sponsorship opportunities in the state. Oklahoma City draws from a concentration of hospital systems, state agency headquarters, and managed care organizations. Tulsa's healthcare corridor, anchored by Saint Francis and Ascension St. John, also generates consistent demand. Smaller markets like Norman and Edmond have some openings tied to regional health networks and university-affiliated programs.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can search for service coordinator roles in Oklahoma without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform aggregates openings from healthcare systems, social services organizations, and other Oklahoma employers with verified sponsorship activity. Filtering by location and role type on Migrate Mate saves significant time compared to manually checking individual employer career pages.
Are there state-specific considerations for service coordinators seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's healthcare sector is the dominant employer for service coordinators, and many roles are tied to Medicaid-managed care contracts, which can affect staffing structures and sponsorship willingness. The state's relatively lower cost of living means prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions are calculated against Oklahoma-specific DOL wage data, which differs from national averages. Candidates with credentials in social work or healthcare administration from accredited programs generally have the strongest footing for specialty occupation classification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
