Which companies sponsor visas for customer program managers in Oregon?
Nike, Intel, Adidas, and Daimler Trucks North America are among Oregon-based employers with established H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Portland's growing technology sector also includes companies like Precision Castparts and several mid-size software firms. Sponsorship activity is most consistent at large multinationals with dedicated HR and legal infrastructure to manage petition filings.
Which visa types are most common for customer program managers in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common work visa for customer program manager roles in Oregon, as the position generally qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and those from Canada or Mexico may use the TN visa under the business analyst or management consultant categories, subject to role-specific review.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, making it straightforward to identify Oregon employers actively hiring customer program managers who need work authorization. Rather than sorting through general postings, you can search by role and state to surface companies with a verified track record of sponsoring international candidates in program and account management functions.
Which cities in Oregon have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the majority of customer program manager sponsorship opportunities in Oregon, driven by the concentration of corporate headquarters and regional offices across technology, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. Beaverton, home to Nike's world headquarters, is a secondary hub. Hillsboro, where Intel operates significant facilities, also generates demand for program and account management roles with sponsorship potential.
Are there any state-specific considerations for customer program managers pursuing sponsorship in Oregon?
Oregon does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but employers must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage rules when filing Labor Condition Applications for H-1B petitions. Portland's technology and consumer brand sectors drive most sponsorship volume. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon produce graduates who enter program management pipelines, and some employers have existing international hiring infrastructure as a result.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
