Which companies sponsor visas for enterprise sales executives in Oregon?
Oregon's most active visa sponsors for enterprise sales roles tend to be large technology and manufacturing employers. Intel (Hillsboro), Nike (Beaverton), and Daimler Trucks North America (Portland) have established immigration programs. Portland-based SaaS companies and cybersecurity firms also sponsor, though frequency varies by headcount and hiring volume. Larger organizations with dedicated HR and legal teams are generally better positioned to manage H-1B visa or O-1 visa petitions for senior sales hires.
Which visa types are most common for enterprise sales executive roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for enterprise sales executives, but only if the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a degree in business, marketing, or a related field with corresponding technical complexity. The O-1A is an alternative for candidates with documented industry recognition. TN visa status applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business or management analyst roles. L-1A transfers are relevant for executives moving from a foreign affiliate to an Oregon office.
How to find enterprise sales executive visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse enterprise sales executive roles in Oregon without sifting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers who have an active history of sponsoring work visas, which is particularly useful in Oregon where sponsorship willingness varies significantly between large multinationals in the Portland metro and smaller regional firms.
Which cities in Oregon have the most enterprise sales executive sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of enterprise sales executive openings in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology, logistics, and professional services employers. Beaverton and Hillsboro, part of the broader Portland metro, add significant volume through Nike and Intel's campus operations. Eugene has a smaller but active market tied to the University of Oregon's business network and regional healthcare and software companies. Outside the metro, sponsorship opportunities are limited.
Are there state-specific considerations for enterprise sales executive visa sponsorship in Oregon?
Oregon does not impose state-level visa filing requirements, but employers must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage standards for the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area, which applies to most of the state's enterprise sales hiring. Oregon's close economic ties to Washington state mean some roles are posted as remote-friendly or Portland-Seattle corridor positions, which can affect the LCA worksite designation. Candidates should confirm the employer's specific sponsorship history rather than assuming company size alone indicates willingness.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored enterprise sales executive jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
