Search Distribution & Wholesale Jobs in OregonDistribution & Wholesale TN Sponsorship Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor TN visas in Oregon?
Oregon's distribution and wholesale sector includes national distributors with Oregon operations that have filed TN-qualifying roles, including food service distributors, electrical supply companies, and industrial goods wholesalers. SYSCO's Portland facility, Grainger, and regional agricultural cooperatives in the Willamette Valley have historically supported TN workers in technical and management roles. DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data, searchable through the OFLC Wage Search tool, shows which specific Oregon employers have certified TN-eligible positions by occupation code.
Which cities in Oregon have the most distribution and wholesale TN sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the majority of distribution and wholesale TN sponsorship activity in Oregon, given its role as the state's primary logistics hub with access to the Port of Portland and major interstate freight corridors. Salem and Eugene serve as secondary distribution centers, particularly for agricultural and food-product wholesale. The Columbia River Gorge corridor, including Troutdale and Cascade Locks, also hosts warehouse and distribution operations tied to regional and national supply chains.
How do I find distribution & wholesale TN sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters distribution and wholesale job listings in Oregon specifically by TN visa sponsorship history, so you can focus on employers with a verified track record of supporting TN workers rather than applying broadly. Search by occupation code or job title within the distribution and wholesale category, then narrow to Oregon locations. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL LCA filing data alongside each employer, giving you a concrete basis for evaluating sponsorship likelihood before you apply.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Oregon?
TN visa eligibility in distribution and wholesale depends on the occupation matching a listed TN category, not the industry itself. Roles that commonly qualify include industrial engineers optimizing warehouse and logistics operations, management consultants advising on supply chain efficiency, accountants handling wholesale procurement finances, and computer systems analysts supporting distribution software platforms. Scientific and technical roles embedded in agricultural wholesale, such as agrologists advising on crop input distribution, may also qualify. Each role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
Are there state-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in distribution and wholesale roles in Oregon?
Oregon does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal TN rules, but the state's concentration in food and agricultural wholesale creates demand for occupation categories like agrologists and food scientists that appear less frequently in other states. Oregon employers in distribution are also subject to state wage and hour laws, which run independently of DOL prevailing wage obligations. Canadian professionals entering on TN status at the Portland International Airport port of entry should carry all supporting documentation, as CBP officers adjudicate TN petitions at the border without advance USCIS filing.
