How to find cybersecurity visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international cybersecurity professionals with Pennsylvania employers who sponsor work visas. The platform filters specifically for roles with verified sponsorship history. Focus on Philadelphia's financial district and Pittsburgh's technology corridor, where most cybersecurity sponsorship opportunities are concentrated. Defense contractors near military installations also frequently sponsor international talent.
Which visa types are most common for cybersecurity roles in Pennsylvania?
H-1B visas are most common for cybersecurity analysts, security engineers, and penetration testers. O-1 visas apply to cybersecurity experts with specialized expertise in areas like threat intelligence or incident response. L-1 visas are used by multinational technology companies transferring cybersecurity professionals to Pennsylvania offices. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican cybersecurity professionals in eligible roles.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most cybersecurity sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia leads with opportunities at major banks, healthcare systems, and defense contractors. Pittsburgh follows closely with technology companies and research institutions like Carnegie Mellon University creating demand. King of Prussia hosts many corporate headquarters with cybersecurity teams. What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cybersecurity jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
