Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop therapeutic and engaging classroom lessons centered around noted education principles.
- Review and dissect data to identify areas of student growth.
- Provide all students the highest quality education.
- Hold all members of our school community to high expectations in our collective pursuit of mission and vision.
- Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of self-worth, wonder and a love of learning.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and develops a culture of excellence.
- Work cooperatively with Center for Excellence Clinical Coaches to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction.
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and treatment team members regularly regarding all aspects of student’s performance.
REQUIREMENTS
Talents, skills, and abilities:
- Strong passion and understanding of special education and trauma informed care.
- Familiar with and align with education in a therapeutic environment and view education as a vocation and are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for the success of all students.
- A BS/BA, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university is preferred, along with Montana Teacher Certificate.
- Special Education Certification
