Which companies sponsor visas for software product managers in Pennsylvania?
Comcast, SAP America, DXC Technology, and Vanguard are among the Pennsylvania-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for product and technology roles. Philadelphia's financial services and healthcare IT sectors also include sponsors like Independence Blue Cross and Siemens Healthineers. Sponsorship patterns vary year to year, so checking recent LCA filings on the Department of Labor's disclosure database gives the most accurate picture.
Which visa types are most common for software product manager roles in Pennsylvania?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for software product managers in Pennsylvania, as the role typically meets the specialty occupation requirement through its demand for a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field. L-1B visas apply when a candidate transfers from an overseas office of the same employer. Candidates with extraordinary ability in product innovation may explore the O-1A, though that threshold is high.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most software product manager sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia accounts for the largest concentration of software product manager roles with sponsorship potential, driven by its fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise software sectors. Pittsburgh has expanded significantly as a tech hub, with companies in AI, robotics, and cloud services hiring product managers. Smaller clusters exist in Malvern and Wayne along the Philadelphia Main Line corridor, where SAP America and several enterprise software firms are headquartered.
How to find software product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse software product manager openings in Pennsylvania without sorting through roles that exclude international candidates. The platform surfaces positions from employers with verified sponsorship histories in the state. Filtering by Pennsylvania and the product manager role category on Migrate Mate is the most direct way to identify relevant openings at this time.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for software product managers in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania's concentration of large enterprise employers, university research commercialization, and healthcare technology companies creates a hiring environment where product manager roles are well-established and frequently require specialized degree backgrounds, which supports H-1B specialty occupation classification. Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pennsylvania also generate employer pipelines that normalize international hiring for technical product roles. Prevailing wage requirements apply statewide and are determined by the specific job location and role level at the time of LCA filing.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored software product manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
