The Services Provider (MSP) team at Nutanix is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to service providers across the Americas. This dynamic team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and creativity, fostering a culture where experienced professionals operate independently while also supporting one another. The mission of the MSP team is to enhance the delivery of Nutanix's cutting-edge technologies in the managed services landscape, ensuring that partners receive the support and resources needed to succeed in a competitive market.
You will report to the Director, Systems Engineering - Channel Sales in the Americas region, who champions a supportive leadership style aimed at removing barriers for team members and empowering them to execute their roles effectively. The travel requirements for this role are expected to be around 50%.
Your Role
- Provide technical Presales support to MSP sellers and partners, addressing inquiries and facilitating solutions.
- Conduct proposal development and sizing based on partner data to drive business initiatives.
- Organize and manage proof of concepts (POCs) and demonstrations for partners.
- Collaborate with specialists and internal teams to develop comprehensive technical strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within partner networks to foster community engagement.
- Achieve set performance metrics and contribute to over-quota results in managed services offerings.
- Support team growth by identifying the need for additional resources based on workload and performance.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by experimenting with new technologies and processes.
- Work with the Nutanix Regional SE Manager to drive field pre-and post-sales alignment and engagement with partners.
- Invest time and effort to learn new technologies to help our partners adapt their solutions and integrate your knowledge into their efforts.
- Subject matter expertise in one or more relevant technology disciplines to establish credibility with technical leaders.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of presales experience in the Service Provider space or Systems Integrators and 10 years of customer-facing and/or technical experience.
- Strong networking and virtualization skills.
- Experience with public cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of storage technologies and multi-tenancy architectures.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and application blueprinting technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Understanding of cloud-native technologies and security practices.
- Confident public speaking and exceptional relationship-building skills.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $207,000 and USD $311,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
