Regional carriers and third-party logistics companies also sponsor specialized roles, though less frequently than major national carriers.
How to find delivery & couriers visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international candidates with delivery & couriers companies offering visa sponsorship in Tennessee. Focus on Memphis for FedEx opportunities and Nashville for diverse logistics roles. Target positions requiring specialized skills like supply chain management, operations analysis, or logistics technology rather than entry-level delivery roles. Companies typically sponsor H-1B visas for management and technical positions that require specific expertise.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most delivery & couriers sponsorship jobs?
Memphis leads Tennessee's delivery sponsorship market due to FedEx's global headquarters and extensive operations. Nashville follows with UPS facilities and Amazon distribution centers creating opportunities. Knoxville offers positions with regional carriers and logistics companies. Chattanooga has emerging logistics operations along I-75. Memphis and Nashville account for approximately 80% of visa sponsorship opportunities in Tennessee's delivery sector.
Which visa types are most common for delivery & couriers roles in Tennessee?
H-1B visas are most common for management, operations analysis, and supply chain technology roles in Tennessee's delivery sector. L-1 visas apply to international transfers within companies like FedEx or UPS. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in management consulting or systems analysis roles. Entry-level delivery positions rarely qualify for sponsorship, as companies focus on roles requiring specialized knowledge or advanced degrees.

Tennessee's prevailing wages for sponsored delivery roles vary by position and location. Memphis typically offers higher wages due to FedEx's presence and competitive market. Management positions generally meet sponsorship wage thresholds more easily than operational roles. The Department of Labor determines specific wage requirements based on job duties, location, and experience level. Companies must demonstrate that sponsored positions meet or exceed prevailing wage standards for the specific role and geographic area.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored delivery & couriers jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
