Which distribution & wholesale companies sponsor visas in Tennessee?
FedEx, AutoZone, Dollar General, and Eastman Chemical are among Tennessee's largest distribution and wholesale employers that regularly sponsor work visas. These companies typically sponsor H-1B visas for supply chain analysts, logistics coordinators, and operations managers. Memphis-based logistics companies and Nashville corporate headquarters often have the most consistent sponsorship programs due to their size and operational complexity.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most distribution & wholesale sponsorship jobs?
Memphis leads Tennessee in distribution sponsorship opportunities due to its position as a major logistics hub, housing FedEx's global headquarters and numerous freight companies. Nashville follows with corporate distribution centers and wholesale operations. Chattanooga offers opportunities in manufacturing distribution, while Knoxville has growing logistics and supply chain operations serving the Southeast region.
How to find distribution & wholesale visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international professionals with Tennessee distribution and wholesale employers who sponsor work visas. The platform filters opportunities by location and industry, making it easier to identify Memphis logistics roles, Nashville corporate positions, and statewide supply chain opportunities. Focus on larger companies with established HR departments and international operations for the best sponsorship prospects.
Which visa types are most common for distribution & wholesale roles in Tennessee?
H-1B visas are most common for professional distribution roles in Tennessee, including supply chain analysts, logistics managers, and operations coordinators. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in management and engineering positions. L-1 visas apply to international companies transferring employees to Tennessee operations, particularly common with global logistics and manufacturing distribution companies.
What are the prevailing wage considerations for distribution jobs in Tennessee?
Tennessee's lower cost of living results in prevailing wages that are typically 15-25% below national averages for distribution and wholesale roles. However, major employers like FedEx and AutoZone often pay above prevailing wage requirements to attract talent. Memphis and Nashville command higher wages than smaller Tennessee cities, reflecting their status as major distribution and logistics centers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored distribution & wholesale jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
