Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Tennessee?
Nashville-based healthcare technology and fintech companies are the most active sponsors for director, product management roles in Tennessee. HCA Healthcare, Change Healthcare, Asurion, and AllianceBernstein have histories of sponsoring H-1B visas for senior product leadership. Larger enterprise software and healthcare IT firms tend to have dedicated immigration support teams, making them more equipped to manage sponsorship for director-level hires.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B visa is the most common sponsorship pathway for director, product management roles in Tennessee. Because the role requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher and involves specialized product strategy work, it generally qualifies as a specialty occupation. Senior candidates with extraordinary achievements may also qualify for the O-1A. Employer-sponsored green card pathways, typically EB-2 or EB-3, are also pursued by Tennessee companies for long-term director-level hires.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee. The platform filters job listings specifically by sponsorship willingness and state, so you can focus on Tennessee employers actively hiring at the director level without sorting through roles that do not offer immigration support. Filtering by role title and state on Migrate Mate surfaces relevant openings in Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville from employers with verified sponsorship histories.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the majority of director, product management sponsorship opportunities in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare technology, insurance, and fintech companies. Memphis has a smaller but active market, with logistics and healthcare employers occasionally hiring at the director product level. Knoxville sees less volume but benefits from proximity to research institutions and energy sector employers that occasionally sponsor senior product roles.
Are there any Tennessee-specific considerations for director, product management visa sponsorship?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which is a notable financial consideration for director-level candidates evaluating offers. For H-1B sponsorship, employers must file a Labor Condition Application certifying they will pay the prevailing wage for the role and location, which is determined by Department of Labor data specific to the Nashville, Memphis, or Knoxville metro areas. Director-level product roles typically fall into higher prevailing wage tiers, so employers initiating sponsorship should confirm their compensation structure meets those requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
