Which companies sponsor visas for corporate development analysts in Texas?
Large multinationals with active corporate development teams in Texas have the strongest sponsorship track records. In Houston, energy companies including ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and LyondellBasell regularly sponsor analysts for M&A and strategic planning roles. In Dallas and Austin, technology, healthcare, and financial services firms such as AT&T, Texas Instruments, and CBRE also have established visa sponsorship programs for corporate development positions.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development analyst roles in Texas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for corporate development analysts in Texas, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with advanced degrees may also see employers file under EB-2 for permanent residence. Some multinational firms use L-1 visa transfers for analysts moving from international offices into Texas-based corporate development teams.
Which cities in Texas have the most corporate development analyst sponsorship jobs?
Houston leads for corporate development analyst sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of energy, petrochemical, and industrial conglomerates with large M&A teams. Dallas follows closely, supported by financial services, real estate, and technology sector headquarters. Austin has grown quickly as a corporate development hub given the influx of technology companies establishing Texas operations. San Antonio and Fort Worth have smaller but active markets tied to healthcare and defense.
How to find corporate development analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters corporate development analyst roles in Texas by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving significant time compared to manually screening general job listings. The platform aggregates positions from employers with documented sponsorship histories, so you can focus applications on companies that have demonstrated willingness to sponsor H-1B and other work visas for finance and strategy roles in the Texas market.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for corporate development analysts in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations and total compensation benchmarking that employers must meet under H-1B Labor Condition Application requirements. The state's heavy concentration of Fortune 500 companies, particularly in energy and technology, means many employers already have in-house immigration counsel experienced with analyst-level sponsorship. University pipelines from UT Austin, Rice, and SMU also feed corporate development teams that are accustomed to sponsoring international graduates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development analyst jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
