Which staffing companies sponsor TN visas in Virginia?
Several large staffing and workforce solutions firms operating in Virginia have a track record of TN visa sponsorship, including federal contractors such as Leidos, ManTech, and SAIC in Northern Virginia, as well as commercial staffing agencies like Staffmark and Kelly Services. TN sponsorship is most common at firms that regularly hire Canadian and Mexican nationals for defined professional roles, so targeting companies with existing TN infrastructure is a practical starting point.
Which cities in Virginia have the most staffing TN sponsorship jobs?
Northern Virginia, particularly the Tysons Corner, McLean, and Arlington corridors, concentrates the highest volume of staffing TN jobs due to proximity to federal agencies and defense contractors. Richmond is a secondary hub for healthcare staffing and commercial workforce solutions. Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads also generate steady demand from defense and logistics staffing firms serving the military installations along the coast.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility is limited to specific USMCA-listed occupations. Within the staffing industry, roles that commonly qualify include management consultants placed on client engagements, engineers recruited for technical contracts, accountants supporting finance-focused placements, scientific personnel, and computer systems analysts. Roles that function primarily as general recruiters or HR coordinators typically do not meet TN occupational criteria on their own.
How do I find staffing TN sponsorship jobs in Virginia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, the staffing and recruiting industry, and Virginia as the work location to see current openings from employers confirmed to sponsor TN workers. Because not all staffing firms advertise their sponsorship willingness upfront, using a platform like Migrate Mate that surfaces sponsorship-confirmed roles saves significant time compared to broad job searching.
Are there any Virginia-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in staffing?
Virginia's high concentration of federal contractors adds a layer of complexity for TN workers in staffing roles. Some positions require security clearances, which are available to Canadian and Mexican TN holders but involve a separate adjudication process that can extend timelines. Additionally, staffing placements where the work location is a federal facility may require the employer to confirm the TN job duties align with an approved USMCA occupation, not just the general staffing role title.
