Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
Role Overview
As a Digital Growth & Personalization Manager, you'll be the strategic advisor and thought partner to our Digital Strategy team—helping define what to test, why it matters, and what the results mean for our customers. You'll own the intersection of customer research, testing strategy, and stakeholder guidance, building a testing roadmap grounded in deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys. This is a hands-on strategic role where you'll launch tests yourself, present findings, and become the trusted expert voice of site optimization and personalization.
Responsibilities
- Test and personalization strategy: Define what should be tested and personalized and why. Guide teams with optimization best practices and refine test hypotheses with stakeholders to ensure rigor.
- Own roadmap management: Build and manage a quarterly testing roadmap grounded in customer research and business priorities.
- Customer journey research: Initiate your own research to understand friction points, user segments, and behavior patterns across our B2B buyer journey. Synthesize findings into actionable testing hypotheses and personas.
- Hands-on test ownership: Launch and manage tests independently (copy changes, simple targeting, basic segments) while collaborating with engineering on more complex builds. Own test plans, success criteria, and validation.
- Insights & analysis: Dig beyond winner/loser narratives. Uncover segment-specific lift, identify which experiences resonate with which buyer profiles, and translate findings into the next phase of strategy.
- Stakeholder leadership & storytelling: Present test ideas, progress, and conclusions. Frame personalization and testing wins as drivers of sales cycle efficiency and user experience. Become the trusted advisor on digital strategy and buyer behavior.
- Technical fluency & collaboration: Understand data layers, tracking requirements, and technical frameworks well enough to brief engineers and unlock deeper personalization triggers. You won't be implementing—but you'll speak the language.
Necessary Experience
- 5+ years of growth, experimentation, or optimization experience with a track record of managing testing roadmaps and building strategic plans across marketing functions.
- Segmentation & targeting expertise: You understand how to define audiences, test hypotheses against specific segments, and identify which experiences move the needle for which buyer profiles.
- Personalization campaign management: You’ve created new campaigns for web properties, reported progress, and iteratively improved personalization strategies.
- Customer research & synthesis: You’re data-first, and seek to understand customer journeys and translate findings into testing strategy.
- Testing platform expertise: Hands-on experience launching and managing tests through tools like Adobe Target is a plus. (Optimizely, VWO, experience with other testing platforms is required).
- Strategic stakeholder communication: You've presented test ideas, results, and strategic recommendations to Directors and Sr. Directors. You know how to frame testing wins as business outcomes, not just metrics.
- Technical literacy: You understand data layers, tracking, and how personalization gets built and can launch simple tests (copy, basic targeting) independently.
- B2B mindset: Experience in B2B environments, understanding longer sales cycles, multiple decision-makers, and the buyer journey complexity that shapes testing strategy.
Preferred Experience
- B2B martech stack: Familiarity with tools like Marketo, Demandbase, 6sense, or similar—used to inform targeting and audience strategy.
- Cross-organization collaborator: You've successfully shaped testing strategy or roadmaps as a peer advisor, pushing back on ideas and driving toward better hypotheses.
- Advisory/council experience: You've been brought into strategic meetings as a trusted expert voice on digital strategy, user behavior, or testing—eventually spanning multiple teams.
- Visualization & storytelling: You're comfortable building presentation decks, dashboards (Tableau, Looker, etc.), or visual narratives that make data compelling to leadership.

Which companies in Washington sponsor visas for growth managers?
Amazon, Microsoft, Expedia Group, and Zillow are among the most active H-1B sponsors for growth-focused roles in Washington. Mid-sized technology companies in Seattle, Bellevue, and Kirkland also file sponsorship petitions for growth managers, particularly at Series B and later stages where user acquisition and retention strategy become central hiring priorities.
Which visa types are most common for growth manager roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for growth manager positions in Washington, as employers typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data science, or a related field, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1 visa status through a multinational employer or O-1 visa status for demonstrated expertise may also find opportunities without entering the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in Washington have the most growth manager sponsorship jobs?
Seattle concentrates the majority of growth manager sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its dense cluster of technology and e-commerce companies. Bellevue and Redmond are strong secondary markets, largely due to Microsoft's campus and the surrounding ecosystem of product and SaaS companies. Kirkland has emerged as a smaller but active hub for growth-stage startups sponsoring international talent.
How to find growth manager visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles that offer visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to browse growth manager positions in Washington without sifting through listings from employers who don't sponsor. You can narrow results by city and role type to focus on Seattle, Bellevue, or other Washington markets where sponsorship activity is highest for growth-oriented positions.
Are there any Washington-specific considerations for growth managers seeking sponsorship?
Washington's Department of Labor and Industries sets a high prevailing wage benchmark for marketing and growth roles in the Seattle metro area, which employers must meet when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application. Washington is also home to several major research universities, including the University of Washington, whose alumni networks often connect international graduates with local technology companies open to sponsoring growth manager candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth manager jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
