Which companies sponsor visas for growth managers in Massachusetts?
Boston-based technology and SaaS companies are among the most active sponsors for growth manager roles in Massachusetts. HubSpot, Wayfair, Klaviyo, and Toast have sponsored work visas for marketing and growth functions. Biotech and life sciences firms like Biogen and Moderna also hire growth-oriented roles and have established immigration support infrastructure, making them worth targeting if your background spans both technical and commercial functions.
Which visa types are most common for growth manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for growth managers in Massachusetts, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data analytics, or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary achievement in growth marketing may also explore the O-1A. Australians may qualify for the E-3 visa, which avoids the H-1B lottery and has historically been undersubscribed.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most growth manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the large majority of growth manager sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts, particularly in the Seaport District and Kendall Square adjacent areas where SaaS, fintech, and biotech companies cluster. Cambridge is a secondary hub, driven by the proximity to MIT and Harvard and the startup activity they generate. Waltham and Burlington also host mid-size technology employers that hire growth roles and sponsor work visas.
How to find growth manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for growth manager roles in Massachusetts without sorting through postings from employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles from tech, SaaS, and biotech companies in Boston and Cambridge that have a documented history of sponsoring H-1B and other work visas for marketing and growth functions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for growth manager visa sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the prevailing wage for the role as determined by the Department of Labor, which reflects the competitive compensation norms in the Boston metro market. The state's concentration of universities, including MIT, Harvard, and Boston University, creates a strong pipeline of international candidates and means many local employers have existing immigration sponsorship processes already in place for growth and marketing roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
