Which companies sponsor visas for growth managers in Kansas?
Garmin and its Olathe headquarters, Cerner (now Oracle Health) in Kansas City, and Koch Industries-affiliated companies in Wichita have sponsored international professionals in growth and strategy roles. Mid-size SaaS companies in Overland Park and logistics firms along the I-70 corridor also appear in sponsorship filings, though sponsorship decisions vary by role, headcount, and hiring year.
Which visa types are most common for growth manager roles in Kansas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for growth manager positions in Kansas, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already holding L-1 visa intracompany transferee status or O-1 visa extraordinary ability visas may also be sponsored, depending on their background and the employer's existing immigration infrastructure.
Which cities in Kansas have the most growth manager sponsorship jobs?
Overland Park and Kansas City lead for growth manager sponsorship activity, driven by SaaS, fintech, and healthcare IT employers concentrated in the greater Kansas City metro. Wichita is the next strongest market, with aviation suppliers and industrial conglomerates occasionally sponsoring growth-oriented roles. Lawrence sees lighter activity, mostly tied to university-affiliated startups or regional consumer brands.
How to find growth manager visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse growth manager roles in Kansas without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform covers employers across Overland Park, Wichita, and the Kansas City metro. Filtering by role and state helps you identify which companies are actively hiring internationally for growth functions right now.
Are there any Kansas-specific considerations for growth manager visa sponsorship?
Kansas employers filing H-1B petitions for growth managers must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the role in the relevant metro area, which differs between the Kansas City metro and Wichita. The University of Kansas and Kansas State University produce business and marketing graduates who sometimes transition from OPT into sponsored roles at regional employers, creating a documented pipeline that some Kansas companies are already set up to support.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth manager jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
