JOB PURPOSE
Customer Strategy and Planning (CS&P) combines strategic planning alongside operational excellence between the Business Development (Sales) and the Marketing teams; ensuring delivery of the Business Unit’s critical KPIs. The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team provides strategy, deployment guidelines and performance tracking across the business levers - Price-Pack Architecture (PPA), Pricing, Promotions and Trade Investments.
RGM has been identified as one of Unilever core strategic growth enablers, in both long and short terms. The RGM Team will be responsible for accelerating the RGM thinking across the Foods Business Unit through:
- Accelerate business growth by embedding RGM thinking across the organization thru capabilities development by integrated tools, reports and processes.
- Drive continued & tangible impact in UL Foods P&L by a balanced growth model of share, volume, pricing and margin.
- Develop a growth roadmap with core Pack & Price Architecture (PPA), pricing, promotions and trade optimization opportunities.
- Elevating RGM KPIS and rhythm into the BU Performance Management agenda & Customer Business Development teams to land consistent execution.
As an RGM Senior Manager, you are responsible for development analytics and tools, that drives growth strategies for Unilever through portfolio optimization, pricing, active mix management, promo and trade spend excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Revenue Growth Management (RGM) associate manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Lead Development of analysis and dashboard on the PPA roadmap (destination portfolio) considering category, consumers and occasion trends.
- Oversee in-depth portfolio assessments to set package assortment gaps, size of prizes, identify price realization gaps, economic drivers, highlight white spaces and ensure price-pack execution to support the brand and portfolio strategy.
- Continuous tracking of pricing changes in the market, aiming category Strategic Pricing indexes that will provide guidance & destination for key Brands, along with SPI compliance & focus needed.
- Develop pricing models to provide recommendations on optimal price points across the portfolio and monitor competitive pricing activity and impact.
- Optimize channel-customer / pack mix and identify design for channel packs to accelerate profitable growth for Unilever and customers.
- Support development of consumer promotions strategies guidelines including alignment with brand objectives, promotions responsiveness as well as ROI profile. Recommend an optimal promotion strategy.
- Create customer trade terms structure and retail margin analysis and propose improvements to ensure alignment with portfolio strategy and act as an enabler for the market execution of the RGM program.
- Identify growth opportunities through in-depth analysis, using tools, frameworks and methodologies developed for this program.
- Disseminate methodologies in order to perform economic and financial analyses and scenario development that will be the base for portfolio pricing simulations and white space launches.
- Play a critical role connecting Marketing, Customer and Finance teams throughout the RGM reports, tools and dashboards to ensure strategy alignment and execution.
- Evaluate economic conditions including interest rates, inflation, trade policies, and regulatory changes, and assess potential business impact.
- Responsible for relationship management with key stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in economics or related field, MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Consumer Goods Company in areas as Finance, Sales, Sales Strategy and Planning, Data science or Consulting.
- You have good knowledge of consumer product marketing, finance and operations.
- Previous experiences on Project Management.
- You have a general understanding of the 5 RGM levers 1) Pricing 2) Portfolio Transformation 3) Mix Management 4) Promotions and 5) Trade Terms Maximization.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
