About Avoca
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, including booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue—all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We’ve expanded to 100 employees in under two years, backed by a high-energy, in-office culture across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office. In a $500B+ market where missed calls mean lost business, we’re building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement.
We’re serving the largest brands in home services, and grew 10x in 2025. With a high-performance, in-office team in NYC, we’re moving fast to capture a massive, underserved market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors. Every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Growth Manager to help scale Avoca’s partnerships channel — currently our highest-revenue-generating growth channel — into a repeatable, measurable growth engine.
This role sits at the center of Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps, and is responsible for independently owning partner programs, campaigns, and engagement across a portfolio of partners. You will take initiatives from idea to execution to measurement, ensuring partners are activated consistently and generating real pipeline and revenue.
You will work closely with partnerships leadership on prioritization and strategy, while maintaining full ownership of many partners relationships and initiatives. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys building structure, running programs end-to-end, and seeing direct revenue impact from their work.
What You’ll Do
- Independently own engagement and activation of a portfolio of partners, including regular cadence, referrals accountability, and performance tracking
- Plan and execute partner-led campaigns and programs end-to-end — including webinars, co-branded initiatives, events, contests, newsletters, and other activation channels
- Build and maintain partner enablement resources in collaboration with Marketing and Sales to ensure partners can effectively position Avoca
- Partner with RevOps to track partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, and surface insights on campaign and partner performance
- Support partner events and conferences through campaign planning, lead management, and follow-up, and selective on-site execution
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and RevOps to support partner-led deals, campaigns, and integrations
- Contribute to partner education, training sessions, and incentive programs that increase partner output and engagement
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in fast-paced, execution-heavy, and high-stakes roles, like Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Growth/BizOps roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
- A clear record of demonstrated excellence and operating above expectations
- Proven ability to run execution-heavy initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure from scratch
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with CRMs (HubSpot preferred), attribution, UTMs, and campaign tracking
- Excitement to work in-office full time in NYC (non-negotiable)

Which companies sponsor visas for growth managers in New York?
Mid-to-large tech and media companies have the most consistent track record of sponsoring growth manager roles in New York. Companies like Spotify, Datadog, MongoDB, and Squarespace have filed Labor Condition Applications for growth and marketing-adjacent positions in the state. Fintech firms including Stripe and Brex, both with New York offices, have also sponsored roles at this level. Sponsorship tends to be more common at Series B and later-stage companies.
Which visa types are most common for growth manager roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most common visa for growth manager roles in New York, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT often transition to H-1B through employer sponsorship. The O-1A is an option for candidates with a demonstrable record of exceptional achievement in growth or marketing.
Which cities in New York have the most growth manager sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the large majority of growth manager sponsorship activity in New York, driven by its concentration of tech, media, and financial services employers. Brooklyn, particularly the DUMBO and Williamsburg corridors, has a growing cluster of startups that sponsor at the growth and marketing manager level. Outside New York City, meaningful sponsorship volume drops sharply, making the five boroughs the practical focus for international candidates.
How to find growth manager visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship roles, including growth manager positions in New York. You can filter by role type and state to surface employers who have a history of sponsoring work visas in this market. Because sponsorship willingness is not always stated in job listings, using a platform focused on verified sponsorship data saves significant time compared to applying broadly.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for growth managers seeking visa sponsorship?
New York's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program reflect the state's high cost of living, so employers must offer compensation that meets Department of Labor wage levels for the role and location. Growth manager is a title with variable scope, and USCIS scrutinizes whether the position genuinely qualifies as a specialty occupation, so employers in New York often work with immigration counsel to document the degree requirement clearly before filing.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth manager jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
