Which companies in Washington sponsor visas for operations supervisor roles?
Boeing, Amazon, Microsoft, and Costco are among the larger Washington employers with documented histories of sponsoring foreign workers in operations and logistics roles. Manufacturers in the Puget Sound region and distribution companies serving the Pacific Northwest corridor also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for operations-related positions. Sponsorship activity is strongest among companies with established global mobility programs.
Which visa types are most common for operations supervisor jobs in Washington?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for operations supervisor roles when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business operations. EB-3 immigrant visas are another pathway for skilled workers. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management and supervisory categories listed under USMCA.
Which cities in Washington have the most operations supervisor visa sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue generate the highest volume of sponsorship activity, driven by the concentration of tech, logistics, and aerospace employers in King County. Tacoma is significant for port and freight operations roles. Spokane and Redmond also see sponsorship in manufacturing and tech-adjacent operations positions, though at lower volumes than the Seattle metro area.
How to find operations supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to employers who sponsor visas, making it possible to search for operations supervisor roles in Washington without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings at Boeing, Amazon, and similar Washington employers known to file H-1B and EB-3 petitions for operations positions.
Are there any Washington-specific considerations for operations supervisor visa sponsorship?
Washington's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B sponsorship are calculated using Department of Labor data specific to the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro or the relevant local area, which reflects the region's higher cost of living compared to national averages. Operations supervisors in aerospace and logistics may also find that Washington's strong union presence shapes how employers classify and scope these roles, which can affect how the specialty occupation determination is made.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations supervisor jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
