Which companies sponsor visas for solution managers in Washington?
Microsoft, Amazon, and Salesforce are among the most active sponsors for solution manager roles in Washington, given their large enterprise and cloud divisions in the Seattle area. Technology consulting firms such as Accenture and Deloitte, which have a significant presence in the region, also sponsor solution managers. Checking a company's H-1B visa Labor Condition Application filings with the Department of Labor can confirm their sponsorship history for this role type.
Which visa types are most common for solution manager roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa category for solution managers in Washington, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or information systems. Candidates with prior U.S. employer relationships may also come through L-1B intracompany transfer visas. Australian citizens working in this field have access to the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is processed separately from H-1B.
How to find solution manager visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters solution manager roles in Washington by visa sponsorship willingness, saving significant time compared to manually screening general job listings. On Migrate Mate, you can browse active solution manager postings from Washington employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas, and filter by location across Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and other parts of the state.
Which cities in Washington have the most solution manager sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue account for the majority of solution manager sponsorship opportunities in Washington, driven by the concentration of major technology companies and enterprise software firms in the greater Eastside corridor. Redmond is also notable given Microsoft's headquarters there. Smaller but growing pockets of tech hiring exist in Kirkland and Bothell, where mid-sized software companies and cloud infrastructure firms have expanded operations in recent years.
Are there any Washington-specific considerations for solution manager visa sponsorship?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation benchmarks relative to Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions. The high concentration of technology companies in the Seattle metro means solution manager roles here are often benchmarked against competitive regional wage data, which sets the floor for what sponsoring employers must pay. Washington's strong university pipeline from the University of Washington also means employers in this state are experienced with OPT-to-H-1B transitions for solution management candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solution manager jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
