Which companies sponsor visas for account managers in Wisconsin?
Several Wisconsin-based employers have a track record of sponsoring work visas for account manager roles. Fiserv and Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee, Epic Systems and American Family Insurance in Madison, and Kohl's corporate offices have all filed Labor Condition Applications for client-facing and sales roles. Larger enterprises with dedicated HR and legal teams are generally more equipped to manage the sponsorship process than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for account managers in Wisconsin?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account manager roles in Wisconsin, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, while Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible under the TN visa category. Employers must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before sponsoring any of these visas.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most account manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the strongest market for account manager sponsorship in Wisconsin, given its concentration of financial services, insurance, and technology employers. Madison is a close second, driven by the presence of Epic Systems, biotech firms like Exact Sciences, and a growing SaaS sector. Green Bay and Appleton offer opportunities in manufacturing, packaging, and distribution companies such as Bemis and Schneider National, though sponsorship is less common at that company size.
How to find account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find account manager roles in Wisconsin without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. You can narrow results by city, industry, and visa type to focus on Milwaukee's financial sector, Madison's tech and healthcare companies, or other Wisconsin markets. Creating a profile on Migrate Mate also helps you track new postings as they appear.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for account manager sponsorship candidates?
Wisconsin's prevailing wage requirements, set by the Department of Labor for LCA filings, reflect regional salary norms that differ from coastal markets, which can affect how employers structure offers for sponsored roles. The University of Wisconsin system produces a steady pipeline of international graduates in business and marketing, many of whom transition from OPT into sponsored positions with Wisconsin employers. Candidates with prior B2B sales experience or industry-specific knowledge in manufacturing, healthcare IT, or financial services tend to be most competitive in this market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
