Position Overview
We are seeking a National Account Manager with capital equipment sales experience to drive new business and expand relationships with key accounts in the packaging markets. This is a high-impact role ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a technical, relationship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business while growing existing national accounts
- Prospect and generate leads through calls, visits, email outreach, and networking
- Represent Polypack at industry trade shows and conferences
- Partner with engineering and internal teams to support proposals and customer solutions
- Identify and track market trends in packaging
- Deliver compelling customer presentations and proposals
- Manage pipeline and sales activity
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of capital equipment sales experience (required)
- Experience in packaging machinery or manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong technical aptitude; ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
